Amlan Chakrabarti is a Full Professor in the A.K.Choudhury School of Information Technology at the University of Calcutta. He is an M.Tech. from the University of Calcutta and did his Doctoral research at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He was a Post-Doctoral fellow at the School of Engineering, Princeton University, USA during 2011-2012. He is the recipient of the prestigious Department of Science and Technolgy, Govt. of India BOYSCAST fellowship award in Engineering Science (2011), Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Visiting Faculty Fellowship (2014), Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Invitation Research Award (2016), Erasmus Mundus Leaders Award from EU (2017) and Hamied Visiting Professorship from University of Cambridge (2018) and Siksha Ratna Award by Dept. of Higher Education Govt. of West Bengal (2018). He has also served in various capacities in various higher education organizations both at national and international levels.

He has received multiple project grants in the areas of Security in Cyberphysical Systems, Embedded System Design, VLSI Design, Quantum Computing, Computer Vision and Data Science from various national and international agencies (DST, DRDO, MietY, UGC, DAE, Ministry of Social Empowerment, WB-DST, TCS, Intel India etc.).

He is a Sr. Member of IEEE and ACM, Distinguished Speaker of ACM, Secretary of IEEE CEDA India Chapter, Vice President of Data Science Society and Life Member of CSI India.

Dr. P.A. Subrahmanyam (“Subra”) has been a Consulting Professor at Stanford University. He is also engaged in Management/Strategy/Technology consulting for startups, international corporations and investment firms (Venture Capital & Private Equity), and has served in various roles including Founder, Executive Chairman, CEO, CTO and CSO.His current interests include Blockchain technologies, Cybersecurity, IoT, Big Data, AI/ML & FinTech. He has been instrumental in cross-national initiatives in the areas of Security, Wireless, Networking, Energy & healthcare/bioinformatics.

Dr. Subrahmanyam is a strategic advisor for the Cybersecurity Research Center and the Dean/CSE at NTU (Singapore); he has also been a Faculty collaborator at UC Berkeley and the Berkeley Wireless Research Center. He has earlier been a Fellow at Princeton University, Bell Labs, and held Visiting Professor/Advisory roles at ISI and NTU.

Dr. Subrahmanyam has authored/coauthored over 210 technical papers, 5 books, received numerous awards, and has 14 international awarded/pending patents. He was the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Formal Methods in System Design, a premier journal in its field. He has also presented keynotes, tutorials and colloquia at conferences, universities & research laboratories worldwide.

Celia Shahnaz SMIEEE, Fellow IEB, received Ph.D. degree from Concordia University, Canada and is currently a Professor at, Department of EEE, BUET, Bangladesh since 2015.

She has published more than 150 international journal/conference papers. She is a recipient of the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship/Fellowship and Bangladesh Academy of Science Gold Medal for her contribution in Science and Technology. Her research interests include the areas of signal processing for speech analysis and speech enhancement, audio-visual recognition for biometric security, control system, robotics, pattern recognition, machine learning and deep learning for audio, video, biomedical, power signals, multimodal emotion recognition, and humanitarian technology.

She has more than 20 years of experience (20 years as an IEEE volunteer) in leading impactful Technical, Professional, Educational, Industrial, Women Empowerment and Humanitarian Technology, Power and Energy-related Projects at national/international levels.

Elvira Popescu is a full professor at the Computers and Information Technology Department, University of Craiova, Romania. She received the Ph.D. degree in information and systems technologies from the University of Technology of Compiègne, France, and the University of Craiova, Romania, in 2009. Her research interests include technology-enhanced learning, adaptation and personalization in Web-based systems, learner modeling, computer-supported collaborative learning, learning analytics, and intelligent and distributed computing. Dr. Popescu has authored and co-authored over 100 publications, including two books, journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers, which have received over 1400 citations. In addition, she has co-edited six journal special issues, as well as 15 international conference proceedings published by Springer and one published by IEEE. She has also given several invited and panel talks at various international conferences. She has participated in over 15 national and international research projects, three of which as a principal investigator (grant director).

Prof. Popescu also serves as the Vice Chair for the IEEE Women in Engineering Romania Section Affinity Group and is an Executive Board Member for the IEEE Technical Committee on Learning Technology and the International Association of Smart Learning Environments. She received several scholarships and awards, including five best paper distinctions (IEEE EUROCON 2007, IEEE ICALT 2013, ICWL 2015, ICWL 2018, IEETeL 2019). She is actively involved in the academic community by serving as associate editor for two journals (IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies, Smart Learning Environments), member of five other journal editorial boards, organizing a series of international workshops in the area of social and personal computing for e-learning (SPeL 2008–2020), serving as a conference chair, program committee chair, and track chair for 18 conferences.

David Alan Grier has spent much of the past decade helping the IEEE Computer Society develop new electronic products, editing its periodicals and writing for its members. He has served as editor in chief of IEEE Annals of the History of Computing, as chair of the Magazine Operations Committee, and as an editorial board member of Computer.

Outside the Society, he works as an associate professor of science and technology policy at George Washington University in Washington, DC with a particular interest in policy regarding digital technology and professional societies. There, Grier has worked as a university administrator for the past 20 years and has demonstrated a capacity for organizational management. He served as leader of the undergraduate computer systems degree, director of the University Honors Program, assistant dean of engineering, and associate dean of International Affairs.

Finally, Grier has worked extensively within the computer industry. He started as a programmer and systems designer for the old Burroughs Corporation. He has also worked extensively as a consultant in the field.

Satish Narayana Srirama is an Associate Professor at School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad, India. Earlier he was a Research Professor and the head of the Mobile & Cloud Lab at the Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu, Estonia, until June 2020. He received his PhD in computer science from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2008. His current research focuses on cloud computing, mobile web services, mobile cloud, Internet of Things, fog computing, migrating scientific computing and enterprise applications to the cloud and large-scale data analytics on the cloud. He is IEEE Senior Member, an Editor of Wiley Software: Practice and Experience, a 50 year old Journal, was an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions in Cloud Computing and a program committee member of several international conferences and workshops. Dr. Srirama has co-authored over 150 refereed scientific publications in international conferences and journals. Dr. Srirama has successfully managed several national, international and enterprise collaborative research grants and projects.

Dr. Sarma Venkataraman has a Ph.D from Central University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. He has worked at Defence Electronics Research Laboratory for 5 years. He has worked at George Tech, Atlanta, USA in DOD project during 1992-94. At ADRIN (Department of Space), he has been responsible in development of Artificial Intelligence techniques in Satellite Image processing and Analysis and in the area of cryptographic solutions for data and network security. Supavadee Aramvith (IEEE S'95-M'01-SM'06, IEICE M'04) received the B.S. (first class honors) degree in Computer Science from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1993. She received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. She joined Chulalongkorn University in June 2001. Currently, she is currently an Associate Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. She was Associate Head in International Affairs (2007-2016), Head, Communication Engineering Division (2013-2016), Head, Digitial Signal Processiong Laboratory (2017-2018).

Her research specialization is in the areas of video coding and processing, specifically error resilience for wireless video transmission, video analytics for surveillance applications, and embedded computer vision system. She has successfully advised 9 Ph.D., 27 Master's, and 32 Bachelor's degree graduates.

A prolific researcher, she published over 130 papers in international conference proceedings and journals along with four chapters in internationally published books. She has also a rich experience in project management, having served as project leader and former technical committee chair to the NBTC and the former MICT of Thailand. In addition, she is very active in the international arena with leadership positions in international networks such as the JICA Project for AUN/SEED-Net, and professional organizations such as IEEE, IEICE, APSIPA, and ITU. At present, she is a member of the IEEE Educational Activities Board (EAB) and chair of the IEEE EAB Pre-University Education Coordination Committee. She is also communication chairs, IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee, IEEE new initiative committee member, and Board of Governors member, IEEE Consumer Electronics Society. She is also Thailand Chapter Chair of IEEE Signal Processing Society and Region 10 representative of its chapters committee. She was IEICE Bangkok Section Chair. She led the Educational Activities and Women in Engineering committees for IEEE Asia Pacific (Region 10) from 2011-2016.
